Most tire makes put what they need to be on the side of the tire. My Michelin Commanders say 41 lbs my Metzler 880 were something else I don't remember what. The owner manual says 36 lbs. I think Doc runs 35 front and 40 rear.

The presssure number on the tire is the tire manufacturers recomended maximum. When they make the tire they don't know what bike you are going to put it on. The correct pressure to use is what the bike manufacturer says; this info is shown on the VIN# sticker, a sticker on the swing arm, the operators manual, and the service manual.
