Picked up bike just now....unreal how little damage there is. Left mirror, left floorboard, shifter bent, left clutch lever, left driving light knocked off. No paint damage no scuffs on chrome (haven't looked it over super close yet). I can fix the shifter and floorboard most likely, have a mirror, and planned on removing my driving light bar from the Roadstar...so all I really need to do is buy a chrome clutch lever. Started right up had friend drive it on trailer and now its in the garage.
Still sore and calling for follow up appointment now. I feel very very lucky. I must have scrubbed off most of my speed before laying bike down on top of me. Driving around today in the cage I really notied how much sand there is on the road...learned not to ride just based on temp....Road conditions kinda matter too! Wait till a hard rain washes the street before riding.

Well holy crap, glad you're (relatively) okay.
Sucks but like everyone said - could have been much worse.
Take it easy, damaged clavicles feel fine 1/2 healed until you actually try to use it.

That sand can be a @#$%&. Glad you weren't hurt worse. Sounds like your gear helped you out.

Sorry to hear about your encounter, as they age somethings aren't as hard as the were at one time, but pavement stays hard forever.
