Marine stereo amp question? 1 Year, 11 Months ago
I have an 06 Road star, and I'm wanting to add an amp in my faring.

My stereo is a JENSEN AM/FM/USB Waterproof Stereo with Bluetooth and 2- 6x9 Marine Polk speaks.

I'd like to boost the sound but don't want to spend a lot on an amp, but it needs to be waterproof because I ride through a lot of rain.

Anyone got a recommendation for an amp?

If it's in the fairing, why be concerned about it being waterproof. I've had my Fosgate amp in my fairing for a couple years now with absolutely no issues. It's ben through plenty of rainy day rides and LOTS of washings.

Well thats true, but since I've never had an amp I like to know more about them, I didn't want to short something out. Lol
Are they easy to hook up?

That's the same amp I have. Easy to install...plug and play pretty much.
