Stainless steel fuel lines when going pump less 2 Years ago
Just wondering if anyone makes a good stainless steel fuel line?
And what would be a good size to use since I've gone pump less?

A stainless fuel line would act as a heat sink, not good for a fuel system.

I tell every one to go to the auto parts store and get a piece of auto reinforced high pressure 5/16 fuel injection rubber fuel line and throw that crappy metal line away between the jug. Yes it will crack after a while but you only have to replace it in a couple of years and it DOES NOT transmit heat to the fuel. Buy 3 foot and keep extra on hand I say to do it even if you still run the pump.

I am assuming he means braided stainless steel line. And 5/16" is what you want.

But I am with Curt on the fuel injection line. It's what I use on both my bikes.

Last week my bike was running like crap so I pulled the carb and found a piece of rubber hose stuck in the needle valve.
I don't use a fuel filter, I only have the ones on the petcock. Just wanted a good line to replace mine with.
