325 Mile run to Moosehead Lake 4 Years, 6 Months ago

OK, so there's trying the scribbles map!

Got out this morning at 8:00 AM and went north pretty hard the the Moosehead Lake region. Who new it took the temperature 7 hours of daylight to rise 10 degrees?

Anyway, we ended up at The Black Frog for lunch and sat next to the big window and watched the amphibious aircraft land and taxi in.

Up the road a way, with the lake coming into and out of view on the right, we come across this pretty amazing view

A little farther up at the gas stop, I saw the only swamp donkey we seen all day worthy of a picture.

Headed back down toward the barn, we ran across a pack of about 20 side by sides that were out tearing up the old logging roads.

Me and Bobby D. Butts getting tired by this point. BTW, that's the jacket, not my gut.

Ain't that big yet!

Sorry I didn't get more pics. Too busy looking. Nice area, Roads can suck at times. Good trip.

Looks like a beautiful ride man. Thanks for sharing and nice pics! I've always wanted to ride New England, heard so many great things. I also, very much want to do the Targa Newfoundland... which is "sort of" in your neck of the woods so to speak. Closer than Calif, that's for sure.

I have wanted to ride a lot more, but between my comfort on it, and it's age, me and the Special won't get it all done. Fingers crossed to get out of here in tye next 60 days.
