My "Favorites", hitched a ride on a passing truck on the WWW. I've done the restore before, and never had a problem. This time,.... a little disappointing to say the least. The good news is, so far the other problem seems to be gone. That is what I do. Hey SSWEARpeg, If you have Time Machine running you can back up to a previous day, week, or month, and go from there. All you would lose is anything you may have saved in the last 24 hours if you go back a day for instance. But everything else will be fully restored to the way it was on the day you go back to. Lost everything, bookmarks and stuff stored on my desktop. I used a program to search my drive and found everything on my desktop but lost all my Firefox bookmarks.
