I'm watching it, curious to see how high it goes. One question though, I was reading the description...what are "cowbells"?

Sure is a great looking bike. Not my style, but maybe if I were a lot younger.

Auction ended - reached $9100 - not enough for reserve.

I don't think it matters how nice a Road-star is, it will never fetch a high price.

So much for multi-thousand dollar paint jobs and $$$ of chrome.

Exactly.....I would never spend the $ to customize a bike when you can buy a professionally done bike for $10k.......that BVD is bad ass and beautiful and I bet $10k cash would buy it after a few more months of not selling. I am "building" my little custom roadstar now and cringed at spending $600+ on a complete paint job (crystal white tricoat 2017 Cadillac color.....very expensive per quart for base and top coats)....I can't imagine the cash that was thrown at that King Me bike!

It helps to know folks for sure! There is a certain budget in all my bikes that I wont exceed or of course I wouldn't do it. There is no way I could pay what the guy walking off the street would get a bike painted like that. The guy that paints it, really does not do metric bikes.... so its refreshing for him to do mine and something a lil different. But... bike is SOLD actually from a guy that was on Ebay and its now resides in Maryland. Fortunately I was able to get my asking price for it. Thanks guys!
