From what you describe sounds like banjo fittings.

If it isn't, then I haven't a clue. Sorry.

Last question about this.

I've had a day to think on it. I went to the garage and inspected the lines, and I see the hole in the bolt, and the hole in the line. Now, don't laugh at me, but do those holes need to be lined up? I think the answer is no. I looked in the manual and it does not say anything about that. But, it feels like they should be. Look guys, I know you think this is ridiculous, but brakes are serious stuff. Many things can fail, and I can deal with it. But, brakes are one thing that I don't mess with. So, I apologize if I'm asking a zillion questions. But, I value my safety more than my pride.

And, the great part about this, is I'm learning.

Thank you,
Jerry

The holes do not have to line up with anything. Just put them in and torque to specs.

Hey' com'on fella's remember when you didn't know the difference between a bolt and nut, going way back 57 Chevrolet wanted to install my own spark plug wire's. Now of course not knowing what the bleep I was doing naturally got them wrong. And older friend at the time came to my house and showed me the correct procedure for the wires. Never to this day have I forgot the firing order on that 283ci motor. Don't believe me, 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2, intrigued me so much most my life's work has been auto technician. 16 years old then, but age has nothing to do with the problem, if thefrazdogg has never done any mechanical work, then it will be like when we all first sit down in front of a computer and started to learn. LOL' I know it's fun to rib someone, but the fraz seems serious, personally I'm going with he is serious. Fraz could be a computer software engineer how many of us could do that?

RSC didn't invent hazing.

It goes way back.

Just part of the initiation.

It was rough for me at the time. I had no idea how big a job it was. I had read people doing it in an afternoon. I could do it much faster now, but would make sure I had all the things I needed before I started.

The great thing about it is a learned a lot about my bike.

The only stupid thing I did is I crossed the turn signals. So now when I what to go left, I have to signal right. Lol. I'll fix it someday. But, no big deal for me.

I absolutely love the 16" bars though. So comfortable for me.

Yep. Since that picture was taken, I think I sold one, but bought two others. I sold my Epiphone Dot and purchased a Strat and a dubro.
