I figured it was time for a formal introduction since I finally have my bike now. I guess I could be considered a new rider however I do have a some hours of seat time as I used to race dirt bikes when I was younger. This is the first street bike though. I picked up a 99 Roadie Silverado from my buddies father in-law. He is an older single fellow who was known to hop on the bike and disappear for the weekend so it has 60K on it. From what I have learned here with the bikes maintenance history and the POs care it should last awhile yet.
My Roadie is stock accept for the V&H
Longshots. I managed to put a few miles on it the last few days to get a feel for it. I love it so far. I already have a Roadwing to put on it and being 6'3" I'm looking to extend the floor boards out and possibly get the ED seat too. I'm going to hold judgment on the bars until I can get a longer ride in but right now I'm not liking the grip angle on the factory bars and will likely be looking to change those out once I get my head rapped around the measurements and figure out how to get the bars like I want them.
Anyway sorry for the long read just wanted to say Hi!
Oh yeah, my Roadie is the Green/Titanium 2 tone
