I paid $2500 for my 2006 with the same miles on it, and that was 2 years ago. Way overpriced.

I posted that bike last week, and thought is was really nice. I also don't think it is over priced with all the things he has added. Look at a 2005 Harley with half that and it will set you back on average about 8 to 10 grand or more. I think the reason our bikes don't bring more is our own attitudes that they are worth so much less. Just my 2 cents. John

Ok, we get it PB, you got the deal of a lifetime. You don't have to constantly remind everyone here every time an ad gets posted that is more expensive than yours. Guess what? Your $2500 '06 doesn't dictate that every other Road Star out there should be that cheap.

As for the one posted, considering how much of a clone it is to my bike (even right down to the same year model), that's a steal of a price. But that's assuming everything was done right and not half-assed. Not so sure it was though, as you can see he just mounted the trunk on a luggage rack that isn't designed to handle that weight/force on it. Makes me wonder what other corners he cut too. But considering what I've got in my build, I'd gladly give him his asking price. There's about $1500-2000 just in the fairing and bags alone.

Its only worth what someone will pay...If someone thinks its worth it they will buy it. If not nobody will buy it and he will lower the price or keep it. We think Harley's are overpriced, but apparently most folks dont because there are millions of them on the road.
