The guy did respond, I would like to take a look at it tonight. I'm HD ignorant, how will a shovelhead pack look on a Roadie? Does anyone know if it is possible to put a wrap around type backrest on this tour pack? Thanks

I told the guy I would be out a 7 PM, miss a little traffic. He said someone was coming at 4 PM, and he would let me know if it is still available. I sent someone over right away to pick it up at 2 PM.

I know nothing about these, what did I buy?
Backinthesaddle said it was from a shovelhead, which would make it 30 years old???

Is it HD OEM?
Can I easily put a wrap around backrest on it?
(A few more pics in the PB album)

So it is an antique then, huh? My ultimate goal is to still find the same one you have. I won't get to look until tomorrow night, but I assume (hope) the ribs wont' be an issue with Ultrastar's mount. Or, I wonder if the ribs will make it work with the fender rack...? Thanks

Thanks Mike, unfortunetly it is a problem with the flat rack. here is a pic of the rack i made to custom fit that hd trunk

i have it forsale as i no longer run the hd setup
