Going through this exact thing myself....did custom dynamics license plate light that has integrated turn signals, brake light, and plate light. I need either individual chrome plugs OR a 5in wide X 4 in tall plate/sticker/piece of leather etc...

I got some from my local motorcycle shop. I got the chrome ones to cover allen head bolts. I believe the 1/4" one worked.

Like others have experienced, the switch on the right (as you're sitting on the bike) was in the way and had to be removed.
