Better ribs than neck. Then again broken ribs is no party. I almost crashed my bike into a concrete divider last week. Thankfully the crash bars saved me and the bike. Makes one think about things differently. Glad you are recovering and in good spirits.

As you know, the outcome could have been worse. Learn. Heal up. Fix the bike. Get back on the road.

Best wishes to you and hope it's a speedy recovery!

Broken ribs are awesome. Statefarm pays $1100 per broken rib. AFLEC only pays 150 per rib. Don't ask me how I know

The last time that happened to me my Doc advised against doing the ace bandage thing. Told me that was old school and they have learned that it really doesn't help. Just what I was advised. Glad you were able to ride away from it.

Heard the same. Be careful with that. Has been blamed for causing fluid build-up in the lungs, i.e. pneumonia. Check with the doc first.

Okay, so as soon as you've done a parts needed inventory... post your list here, and let's see how many we have to help you out with!

Heal up and be well, Brother!

Well, the ER docs said no wrapping and to do an hourly breathing excersice to avoid fluid buildup ienuemonia.

And to add to my pain, I was at my mothers bedside with my sisters as she passed yesterday. Afterwards, my older sister gave me a hug and she actually squeezed - OMG that hurt like hell with more tears of pain. So another couple days of pain to endure setting in my recliner. I go see another doctor to follow-up tomorrow.

As for parts here is a preliminary list:
Sissy bar Back Pad Studded
Windscreen - Tall
Windscreen Chrome trim large panel
Windscreen Chrome trim Screw - 4 ea
Windscreen - Roadstar Emblem
Windshield Bracket right
Windshield Bracket Left
Headlight ring/bezel screw - 2 ea
Light Bar
Passing Lights
Passing Lights Visor
Headlight Visor
Turn Signal Visor
Front Fender Front Chrome Trim
Exhaust - dual or other that is higher
