I pay $10.00 a quart for Mobil 1 V-Twin oil. I don't think I'd cut corners with a cheap filter. I run Pure One filters from Advance Auto at about $7 ea. I don't think that's too bad. Just my .02.

I ran K&N 303 oil filters forever and I loved them but hated that I always had to order it online or wait for a dealer to get it in so I changed to Bosch 3300 and can get my oil (Mobile 1) and oil filter all at the same place. I like the Bosch Oil filter. I get my filter at Autozone.

I used to work in the parts business, and there's a reason they call it "cheap Chinese"! I'd steer WAY clear of any of that stuff. You wouldn't believe the horror stories when it comes to that crap. Pay a couple extra bucks and get a Bosch at you local auto parts store. I've used them on everything I've owned for the past 20 years, including the Porsche I used to race. Can't go wrong with Bosch.
