I just installed my Roadwing. The improvement is pretty profound! I could feel a difference as soon as I threw my leg over th bike. I don't understand why but hi way handling really improved. It was getting kinda twitchy in the tailwind behind a big truck. Not now. Ride is excellent! Corners great.
Thanks for the help Smokescreens!

Hello everyone, i'm new here, from Republic of Georgia, not state of Georgia I've bought roadstar recently, and want to switch to gold shock, stock shock is leaking so i thought it would be good idea to install adjustable shock with remote preload rather than buying stock shock for the same price. My question is would F6B with stock rap from new gold work for this modification? i see a little diference between new and old ones. Old one has rubber or plastic i cannot tell and new one does not, see picture below.

Hey mrdzago, I am using the F6 preload adjuster and BMW Rap on my Road Star.
The F8 Rap should work good for you, once you bleed it.
Good luck and ride safe.

The f6b shock will work well. But the hose between the adjuster and shock is very short. I would get a longer one made/ purchased
