barons needle 1 Year, 6 Months ago  
hey everyone,,,, can anyone tell me where i can purchase just the barons needle. i hate to spend 40-60 bucks on a kit that i don't need. i can order the pilot and main that that i need from jetsrus or from the local dealers. thanks joe

As far as I know you can't buy just the needle alone. I read a thread where MRshamrock modified a stock needle to match the taper of a Barons needle. The groove on the stock needle is equal to the 4th groove of a Barons needle so no need for multiple grooves with his mod. I tried this mod and installed it on JYD's bike in Celina and it worked good. The Mod takes some measuring, a cordless drill and a pc of sandpaper. The one I did I also polished it on the buffing wheel after I got the taper correct.

hey davej,,,,, thanks for the info, but that was not the answer i was looking for. LOL,, i have a dynojet needle so i guess i'll just use it and run a 184 dynojet main and order me a 40.0 pilot . was hoping someone might have had a extra one laying around.

Yes but we would have to have a barons needle to measure off of in the first place, thus making the need to manufacture one of our own pointless
