#1020118 75kona (User) Platinum Boarder Posts: 1153 That escalated quickly... 6 Months, 1 Week ago   As some of you know I have been on the search for a new bike. A good friend who passed some time ago left me his royalstar which I took on our week long 2500 mile trip at the end of July. Great time. But I was looking for a bike to put the every day miles on and save Mikes bike for special occasions. Also I love doing modifications and making a bike my own and I just can't seem to get behind the thought of changing his bike from its current configuration. Wellllllll I bought a bike tonight completely unexpectedly.. Saw it on Craigslist for a decent price. Low balled the heck out of him through text and I guess he was just ready to be out of riding because he accepted... I now own a 2003 Harley Electra glide standard. I hope after going to the dark side y'all will still accept me!! I would like to have a Softail with 120ci S&S so it would be more of a hybrid Harley. My wife bought me a Springer plastic model. the first thing I removed the bags and back seat. Here is the link until he deletes the add. Without Photobucket I don't know how to add photos from my phone haha it runs great! And have no problem putting in the work when the miles catch up with it. And as for torque I have only ridden it home and honestly I've been without a road star I wouldn't be a good person to compare. If memory serves me right it feel like it has alot more off the line and get up and go.
