Gone! 6 Months, 3 Weeks ago
This past Friday was the last ride on my 2013 RSSS. After three years I finally decided to pull the trigger and go to the Dark Side...2017 Ultra Limited Low metallic Charcoal. I really like the new Milwaukee 8 engine and the bike handles great. No extra purchasing of fairing, pipes or trunk; it's all there along with surround sound, nav, infotainment etc.

The only issues I have is the shift points are a bit shorter than I am used to so I end up shifting a lot sooner than with the Roadie. Horsepower and torque are incredible and if you're not paying attention you'll be catching the interest of the local politzi.

So now I have a fairing, trunk and OEM exhaust I will be putting up for sale. I will post pictures and shipping costs in the next few days.

Feel the same about my 17 electra glide. I was looking at the limited but did not want the water cooled heads so stepped down one step.

Faxtory cruise is a game changer though

I have the 2017 Road King and you're right, it took a minute to get use to the 6 speed! Well worth the learning curve though!

This is the fairing I'm selling. Ship weight is 30LBs. This will bolt right onto the existing OEM windshield mount. There is a remote that is wired with it that I placed on the left mirror mount. The radio is a Jensen Marine with Polk audio marine three way speakers and a flip up shroud. I'm thinking $300 with shipping but I'm flexible. I painted this blue from the original black primer. The outer shell unbolts from the inner shell and makes it easier to sand and then paint the color you want. Rattle can works well but I would advise going to an Auto Paint supply and purchasing a quality 2 part Urethane clear coat. Pint will work just fine. Mine is starting to show the small chips from gravel and BIG bugs.

This is the Trunk I am selling. It's a Mutazu King HD with a mount that I welded up myself. It bolts into the back rest receiver on the bike. Remove the backrest mount and this one will use the existing bolts to mount. Shipping weight is 30LBs and I'm letting it go cheap. $100 plus shipping should work. Reason is, it's not fiberglass like the OEM HD trunks. I have had to add fiberglass reinforcing to the base and the hinges due to stress fractures. I have a cable with a 6 pin connector that I use for the lights. I had to pull the pins on the OEM connection and solder a tailpiece on to the wires so I could connect to the trunk. This allows you to disconnect and remove the case easily. The latchs and keylock are new but it will need the hinges replaced eventually.
