09 up HD wheel to r oad* 5 Years, 3 Months ago
Thinking about picking up a new take off Roadglide 18" wheel with rotors and non abs bearings. is there anything different from the usual hd to star wheel swap I need to know with the later wheels?

i think they are 25mm bearings and not the 3/4" or 1" from earlier years

Have ya thought about Roadliner/Stratoliner 18" front wheel. Rotors swap over from the Roadstar & bearings are the same. Bolts on easy.

Can you use the rear off the Stratoliner as well?

Only ting making the hd wheel tempting is the 125 price. Seemed like a good deal if there isn't too much bs in getting it on the bike.

the wheel is the cheap part. forget the price off hand but i think $125 for a axle ready for a 3/4” bearing, then add a rotor(s), and wheel spacers. All of a sudden the price adds up. The roadliner wheel is alot less work and probly cheaper in the long run. But im sure its more of a look thing than price thing

Can i use the HD rotors? They are with the wheel for the price. It is kinda a look thing, never saw 1 on a roadie. Could i have an axle made for the 25mm bearing to our axle diameter? Never tried anything that wasnt a dierct bolt on before.

This gives you most of the info on the HD conversions, including the pricing and options for rotors and such
