I still think the BMW K1600B is a way better deal. Less money, way more power (160 horsepower) than any of the new crop of baggers. And they all pretty much look the same to me.

Yup, and you'll spend the least amount of time riding it and the most amount of time waiting for it to get fixed.

Even if it doesn't break down, you'll be putting a rear tire on it every 4K-5k miles.

I still want to see one without the fairing. I've never really been a fairing or even windshield guy on my cruisers. fairings look cool on race toys, but those days are behind me. Big fairings always make me think of Goldwings or HD dressers - I'm just not feeling that old yet.

I don't think think we are likely to see one of these without a fairing. Could be wrong, but these are obviously aimed at the Goldwing/F6B and Roadglide market. Transcontinental touring. Wonder who came up with that

it looks like it's angry. I like the motor. so are we reaching the limit on cc's on the v-twin in production motorcycle? I see Harley has the 114ci on their new bikes (I envision a major recall).

You see some 121ci in aftermarket Harley style motors.. just wondering what the limit will be for reliability, size, etc. for the major bike producers.

The Harley CVO model touring bikes have 117's in them. I think they are similar to the S&S 117's, those are good engines.

Looks like the closest bike HD has to the new Star Eluder is the Road Glide CVO priced "starting at $41,399*".
https://motorcycles.harley-davidson.com/us/en/motorcycles/2018/cvo/cvo-road-glide.html

Pretty sure you could make the Eluder be whatever you need with that extra $17,400 you wouldn't need to drop 'Day Of Sale'.
* (much less what it will really cost you if you finance it).
