What am I doing wrong? 11 Months, 1 Week ago  
I have a set of Dunlop 404's on my 08 roadie. Ride 2 up 60% of the time. I have over 10,000 miles and the still look great?
I hear they are only good for around 8000. I bought a set of commanders at 6000 thinking I would be changing these out.
Not complaining just a little suprised.

You are probably diligent about tire pressures, ride a combination of twisties and super slab and lucky I guess lol.

My memory has me remembering the Rear lasting about 14,000 and the front 20,000.
Like what was posted keeping air good, and not twisting to hard you should get some nice miles out of them.

Never seen a 404 on anything make it past 6K to the wear bars.

My experience with 404s puts them just past the 'Maypop' category.
