nice day came up Wednesday. Temps down, no rain forecasted in the outlying areas I like to ride.
Left the house at 7:30am. Did my loop,backway to Parump then Mountain Springs Saloon for a cigar and a bloody Mary.Elevation rise 5500 ft. 130 miles. Then back to the station I fill up at, 60 miles. Kept to the speed limits, mostly 70 mph. Kept my wrist out of it, just a nice pleasurable ride I desperately needed.
42 mpg...can't remember the last time I got that. Have been slowly tweaking the PMS on the 40 pilot I recently installed per davej. Such a good motorcycle. Kinda disappointed Mother Yamaha hasn't kept this model in production. At this rate...probably won't need another motorcycle anyway
