I am having a hard time deciding on which communication system to purchase. Scalia Rider and the Interphone f-5 seem popular. What are your opinions?

I've thought about getting one too. Let me know how you like it if you get it.

I have had both the Scala Rider Q2 and the newer G4 models. Both work very well. The Q2 seemed better as a bluetooth and has an available half helmet mount which the G4 does not. When using either with an open helmet there is a bit of wind noise picked up, worse with the G4, almost none with the Q2 and half helmet mount. The only advantage to the G4 over the Q2 is that you can link 4 G4's together and all be on one open channel, which is very nice. Also you can link a Q2 to a g4 if you ride with someone that has the other model. I guess the new g9 model is like the g4 but can link 9 units from what I've heard

Me and my riding buddy have the Scala G4 SET, had them for a year now and we love them. The biggest mistake other users make with these, is that when they get them they immediately want to start using them without thoroughly reading the manual. There's allot to these unit to understand how every aspect of them works. I suggest carrying the manual with you to use as a reference when needed. I had the original Interphone headset before the G4.

I've got an AUTOCOM. Does it ALL! No batteries to charge, just plug in and GO!!!!

If I were to replace it, or be buying new..... I do think I would go with the Scala G9. Supposed to be the best out there. Bike to bike, rider to passenger intercom, connect your phone, GPS, etc via Bluetooth, bump pairing, FM radio built in and works with either full coverage or half helmet.

We have the Sena SMH10's and really like them. We bought them at a bike fest and they let us try out the Sena and the Scala both before we bought and decided that the Sena sounded better and was easier to use for us. The Bluetooth works great with my I-Phone and I can use Mapquest for voice navigation. Sena is also ridiculously easy to operate. If I was gonna change I would have to look at uclear http://www.uclear-digital.com/HBC100moto.php they are supposed to be awesome and blow all the others away and don't have a boom mike.

+1 on the autocom, it's expensive but it works great. I highly reccomend a place called rocketmoto to buy from no matter which you choose. The customer service is over the top good. Adam the owner gave me his cell phone number before I purchased so if I had any questions he could help with.

Just bought a Sena smh10 and it's great so far. Pairs up with my phone and GPS with no hassle and according to my wife, the voice clarity is good even at speed.
