Thanks Gary.
My paint is HOK gold base with Kandy Apple. It's a bitch to apply candy but once you get the hang of it, it's worth it.
Earliest I've skied in Banff is mid-November. Planing a ski trip this year for March break and Sunshine is on the list.

Hi Doc
Thank you for the reply on your paint color. I checked out your web site. There's a lot of good info there. Great job!
I tried to e-mail you @ your address but couldn't get through. I noticed your dealing with Rogers, a Canadian company. Are you living in Canada somewhere?
Your bike started life the same as mine, a red/red '00 Silverado, and I'm running the Pro-Pipe as you once did.
Some of the things you have done to your bike I have thought about doing to mine. I'm not stealing your ideas, honest!
What do you think of Baron's tank stretch kit & Kuryakyn's gas cap mod? Are they quality products & straightforward to install?
Once again, great jod on the web site and especially your bike.
Later
Gary

Nice to meet you Dick. Thanks for the welcome!
I like what you've done with the upolstery on your bike. Looks great with the white paint! What color is that? Looks redish brown on my computer.
Love those pipes. They're killer! I don't remember seeing them before.
She is most definitely "Simply Sweet!" and that view is to die for.
The forum "is" a great asset! Talking about motorcycles comes second to riding them, but it's a close second and the knowledge to be gained is priceless.

Gary,
Thanks for the compliment.
Yes, I'm in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. If you removed the 4 x's from my e-mail address on my website, I'm suprised that you could not reach me.
I have a write-up on how I did the tank extension and some obervations, on my website. If you need any more info, I'll be glad to provide it.
The KuryAkyn gas cap must be turn down before installing as the shaft is bigger than the R* inlet. You can now buy these caps that will fit the R* from some vendors. I had a hell of a time finding a non-permament adhesive. I tried silicone and Permatex grey and they both didn't work. I ended up slightly ruining the paint as gas was wicked up past the gas cap shaft. I had to do a repair job on the paint. I am now using Seal-All and it seems to be working. Other than that I like it.
