What is the pixel size of the original pic? My pic is the actual size of the pic. 450 x 374. Your pic doesn't look bad set at 150 x 84 (Below my pic). So if it is a small pic, say 150, and it gets put in at 450 it will look lousy.

Bumping this thread up. I just added some examples of what the bb code needs to look like for sigpics.

I thought our bb would hide the code, but found a way to display it.

Nope no pic. I think other people have had trouble with yahoo. Try putting your pic in photobucket.<br><br>Post edited by: Musky, at: 2007/03/15 21:43

Re:SigPic Instructions 10 Years, 10 Months ago
Gram, thanks for the information, but I'm afraid this isn't working for me. Someone gave me the link to this thread and I understand your instructions, but my problem is I am downloading a pic that is 320 X 240, and it still says my pic is too large.
The only site I have that will resize the pic has as the next size step 160 X 120 which it lists as a thumbnail and is really too small to mess with.
The pic quality is 72 pixel per inch, is that my problem? My next attempt is to take new pics, and attempting to set the camera to a lower pixel per inch.
If you, or anyone can help with this I will sleep much better. I love to ride, but this computer chair ain't no bike saddle!

O.K. I'm getting dumber by the minute. One last piece of information, then I'm going to bed and hope someone can straighten me out by morning.
I finally got it to download, but it actually put duplicate pics in the sig.
I went to edit, removed the pics (both of them) and resubmitted with what I thought was the correct url. Now it says a pic with the same name is all ready downloaded, and wants it renamed before it will take it again?
I guess I can do that, but for tonight, I'm whipped.

Hey dryriver

Try storing your pic in photbucket. It's free. And then link it from there.

I didn't see anybody contribute a site for pic resizing. So I'll throw it in, it's free, it worksand you can crop them before you resize them. Pretty cool.

Enjoy!
