My not quite done winter project! 9 Months, 1 Week ago
So I went from mostly stock 2000 R*, I put a Mustang seat on it and LeatherLyke bags and called it good. Yeah that lasted about 6 months and I was going to redo it with new paint, Roadwing, Race Tech springs, Jumbo Strong Bags new tires new brakes, new mirrors, new tail lights and new to me HK Big Straights and BAK. The paint didn't get done but the body work did so it's in primer for the summer. Anyway, Thoughts? insults? suggestions?

Here is the new later model light bar. Much sturdier than the original!

Here is my RAP mount. it JUST clears the side panels.

The chrome backing plate chrome nuts and bolts on the Tombstone light.

The other side view.

Big butts...

I'm digging this mod big time! Thanks to FaPo for his idea of the round brake pedal!

The stock header nuts looked sad - Double nutted in Stainless with an Acorn on top.

Choke - Err Enricher knob relocate tucks up nice under the tank, easy to feel, Chrome washer for the bare aluminum angle bracket.

In my unmowed clover yard

If it is broke, fix it. If it is not, make it better!

I'm not sure the pink paint will fix the carb.

Looking good !!

I like the looks of the back of the bike. I'm kinda partial to the tombstone tail lights.

Chromed mag wheels next ?? After paint of course
Keep up the good work.

I think you are the second person to go to the round brake pedal since I did mine.

It is a huge difference for room on the floorboard! Now I want to do the shifter and move it in more.
