Those who bought one won't get them until December so you won't find any user reviews.

Delivery pushed out to December due to production line upgrades.
Nothing wrong with the bikes, it's specifically something to do with the assembly line.
That's all anyone will get from Yamaha, I asked the VP of North America operations & got nothing.

Sat on one while it was running. That engine is very smooth with very little vibe.

I'm going up to Perris, CA tomorrow to try and test ride one. I'll report back and let you know my opinion.

That guy is pretty negative on the Yamaha. I watched a series that was a better review than that fellow: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GgJCPShQgE4 it is more like an ad I have to day. They put 700 miles on it at least.

How were they able to put 700 miles on it if they haven't been released yet? Did they choose some test pilots to "just take them and ride them for a while and tell us what you think" ?

Re:New Yamaha Venture: Who Has Bought One? 3 Months, 4 Weeks ago
Well, I went up and got to run a demo ride of the new Venture. We got to go on about a 20 minute ride that included city streets as well as a pretty straight shot of highway for about 3 exits.

1. There was heat off the engine, but I don't think is was any worse that what comes off the Roadstars'
2. It didn't feel top heavy to me, but that may just be me.
3. I took corners like I was on a sport bike. It felt crazy stable to me.
4. I don't know if it was just this bike or if it's all of them, but when I took my hands off the bars, it wanted to drift to the right...every time (concerning).
5. I went from 65 to 100 faster that I ever thought possible. (Not sure what the guy in the previous video was experiencing, but this bike is faster than my Road Star for sure.
6. The touch screen worked great and the stereo was loud. (Who puts a max volume of 17? Why not 20 or 10? 17 is just weird to me.)
7. I was able to move it easily forward and back in the parking lot, it didn't feel as heavy as I expected. Maybe I just have strong legs.
8. Unlike the guy in the video, I didn't have a problem with my legs on the gas tank.

Bottom line (for me) is that I am buying this beast in March or April (gotta pay off the car first). I plan on starting to go on some much longer rides and being much more comfortable than I am on the Road Star.

And to answer the question about a 700 mile test ride...those videos are from the press ride that Yamaha invited the magazine guys to go on from Idaho to Montana.
