hey ralphing

you can do baron's (dt riser's) with your oem bars with no change

will bring your oem bar's 2" closer but no change in height

baron's kickback riser's w/ oem bars think it's 1.5" taller
with 1.5" back-still had to change front brake hose

12" ape by h-d (2009 series) made updates on bars
heritage softail bars

best option i ever did!! it cost me about $ 65.00 for the upper
brake hose with new bango fittings & washers

worth every penny!! do it right the first time

save a little more if you can't do it right now

I have been so disappointed with my local yami dealer's service that I went to my local HD dealers Ride N Buy..the Heritage Special mini apes are the best bars I have ever used...takes allot of strain off the old elbows...I am keeping the Roadie but am definetly replacing the bars with the Heritage bars...Looks like I will have to replace all cables...some say yes, some say no...I don't want no binding, so is it best to replace all???

It is my honest opinion that if you go any higher than 10" rise, then you need to get new cables and lines... some say yes, some say no, but it is in your best interest not to skimp when it comes to that. It is a bit costly, but if you have SS braided lines, you can resale them pretty quickly to make up some of the cost...

THOUGHT SO...add another $350.00 on for cables + install. Hey, I guess that's what we make the $ for...And the end result is a much more appreicated piece of riding art...(and it feels better) ...
