If you are thinking of getting a Strat/liner, a test ride I think will put you over the edge. This bike is awesome, much smoother, power to spare, even in 5th at 40mph, she'll pull. Though heavier, feels so much lighter thanks to the aluminum frame which distributes the weight just about 50/50 over each wheel, just absolute no effort to get it up off the stand too, even with wheel fully cocked to the left. Certainly a bike for the tall boys, us shorter folk, do need help with the reach to bars though. Thanks to the risers, been able to finally put some decent miles on her, did a poker charity run for Hospice this morn, w/passenger, handled fantastically and plenty of git-up and go even with 2 aboard.

Thinking of going with the Cobra Fatty engine guards, and also adding the light bar, and the right control already has a switch for the extra lights.

Damn you sir I was all ready to pull the trigger on an '07 or '06 midnight Roadstar Silverado, and now you've got me thinking about the Strat Although, I'll probably still go with a Roadie, now I'm looking for Strats for sale

I must say, the Cobra Fatty bar saved my left leg in the crash, although, if the truck had hit me at a different angle, it very well could have folded up on my leg and crushed it even worse Although, you can't buy an engine bar that won't fold up if hit by a cage. They just aren't made that strong
