A couple of questions,please
1- how wide is the Raider wheel hub, end to end?
2- Is the cush hub the same as the Roadstar/Stratoliner?
3- Since you don't have a brake stay, how do you move the caliper if you readjust the wheel location?
4- do you still have an oil seal on the outter edge of the center "hub" of the cush hub
thanks
1- I have to measure it tonite
2- yes, the cush drive hub fits the Raider wheel
3- I wont be adjusting wheel location enough to matter. I fitup the caliper bracket with the belt adjusted to factory location (used the little tick marks in the brackets)
4- Yes, I packed the new needle bearing with grease and had the hub machined to accept the stock oil seal

Holy crap Dennis. How have I been missing this thread? That's a freaking huge tire. Didn't realize the raider was as big a project. Going to look great!
So, paint this weekend? Can't wait! Very cool.

That's Awesome! I have a buddy with a Raider, and he is buying some fat 50 spoke wheels for his raider and I know he'd let me have his wheels. I'd love to do this, but honestly it seems out of my skill range!

+1 I've got a Liner rear and a spare swing arm. Just haven't gotten around to finishing it. Thanks for the write up DC, this will be some great help when I get motivated again.

Fender's almost done. Install tomorrow morning and final paint.
Here are some pictures from today....
Fender front welded (like a patchwork quilt of metal plates)
bondowork done! - front view
- rear view
Stay tuned, she's almost done (for this season).
