Even with that pulled down, the bugs fly under the shield and bonk me in the eyes. He was riding behind me and we went thru a swarm of gnats. I was wearing shades and he was not, I looked in my mirror and he was gone. I turned around and I found he and his bike off the side of the road, he was dead. We both were not wearing helmets either. I think if he were wearing one he may be alive today. I believe he got blinded by the gnats and lost control. I always wear a full face. Guess I don't see what the point of a 1/2 helmet is when you rip your jaw off but whatever, aint my head.
