Got all set to install my HSR 42 and my throttle cables are to short. I have Baron Star Bars and there is no way the cables will work. I am a bit bummed that I have to now wait for +3 cables I ordered from Maxair. Add this to the list of things to check and order BEFORE starting this project.

Hello Doc
I see your running a HSR42 with a 160 main #97 with needle clip #4
B.A.K. with a #70 pilot jet, This is where I'm curious #70 pilot jet? I'm postive you tried many pilot jets to get where you are now.

Samson check again he is running a #70 pump nozzle not a pilot jet. Would bet he is running the 25 pilot jet like I am.

no way can it be a 70 pilot jet, not even sure if one is made, a 70 would flood the engine, I don't think it would run. He must be referring to the pump nozzle, but even that is rich with just about any combination of jetting, the 50 pump nozzle is more than adequate.

Tha's why I went with the Maxair 42. Sent them my TPS and they set it all up. When I got the 42, it was plug and play. I never had a problem with it
