It looks like it should, though it seems to stick up a bit higher than I would like. Not sure that necessity of a magnet to be honest. If your motor is making metal you'll probably find that out long before an oil change. If you were to find minute particles on the drain plug, what exactly would that prompt you to do?

I don't necessary need the magnet. Just trying to find something in Canada that would fit. Autozone sells them for $11, but shipping is $29. Not paying $40 for a damn bolt!

Yes that one works. Same thing as I purchased from Autozone a few weeks ago....it was only $5.

I bought two of those and ended up going back to stock because they leaked even with the stock crush washers. Is a softened copper washer better than a hollow crush washer?

That would be a Big Yes, IMHO.

14mm plug is much easier to deal with on the left side than the 17mm nut.
pretty sure they sell these with out the magnet also.

Yes they work just great but throw that plastic washer away with your old plugs they are junk and if you tighten them up when they leak they will cause you to strip your crankcase and tank. I used them on both my R*'s and I use copper gaskets that I anneal with a torch to soften them to seal good. Get the copper gaskets or good crush gaskets for both the tank and crankcase.
