The biggest thing after concerns about oil pressure(valid or not), is what the carb needs to work properly at idle. The 850 to 950 spec from Yammie, deals with the amount of vacuum needed for the pilot circuit to work like it should, and the bike to respond to throttle as well as can be expected, when pulling away from a stop. That may be the threshold for maintaining amps from the charging system also.
