Intake maniflod 6 Years, 7 Months ago  
Was doing the fuel gauge repair today 7 noticed the intake manifold on my 99' was cracked in numerous places.I was wondering if anyone had spare 1 for sale? There's a 1700 ported 1 in the clasifieds on here but unsure if the 1700 would fit on the 1600? Thanks 4 any help Cheers Toby

Pretty sure they are different. Curt is our resident go to guy for this. Have one with surface cracks also. Decided to replace after gathering a consensus here. Still might work with some sealing but it's only a temp fix.

1600 and 1700 manifolds aren't the same. You can buy a new 1600 manifold for around $75 and if you do might as well port it and make sure you surface the flanges on a flat surface like a glass table or a granite counter top. just don't let the wife catch you doing it. Cracks arounf the flange area is nothing to worry about cracks on the middle can be a big problem so you should replace.
