Re:Hypercharger 8 Years, 3 Months ago
I bought the Hypercharger and install kit from Pacific Coast. Have not been able to install the damn thing. The bracket just does not seem to line up. Any suggestions??

Here is a link to what I believe are your mounting instructions http://www.kuryakyn.com/documents/installation/9424-21MC-0809.pdf I have the pro model and went through the same nightmare. The instructions are missleading, I can help, if you like, pm me as I don't type very well,

Re:Hypercharger 8 Years, 3 Months ago
I'm looking at a hypercharger, or some form of BAK for my bike. My mechanic guy that helps me when I get in over my head says he thinks it's jetted from the sound/performance. I have strait pipes, but a stock air box, so I figured jetted with the pipes, I should open the air box up a bit so it can breathe easier as well, which landed me at hypercharger. However it says hypercharger added, should rejet, is there a specific jet kit to go with? I'm dumping loads of fuel in without the air, it runs rich and hte inside of my tailpipes are black, and I blow fire out the pipes when I get on it, which is pretty cool, but would more air eliminate that and give a more complete burn?

The Pro hypercharger comes with a jet kit. What straight pipes? Have you pulled the plugs? Fire coming out of your butt is not a good thing. We need more info to help.

Re:Hypercharger 7 Years, 5 Months ago
my bike is doing the same thing right now and i'm getting 10 mpg's less with hypercharger installed. my butterflies are closed while i'm at cruising speeds or shifting thru the gears. only open up when i floor it. which i hardly ever do. did u adjust the screw behind charger to get more movement out of butterflies? i think i'll have to do that.

Disconnect the vacuum line for the butterflies they are just for looks anyway. I had a HC after I first got my bike dealer never could get it jetted right in 5 tries. I tired it too and finally bought a BAK and get it jetted the HC was one reason I got SVS. You see what I am running now I won't spend another $250 for any air cleaner again ever.

i disconnected the vacuum line from the hypercharger, now the line is just dangling. do i plug the vacuum line or tie it down and let it suck atmospheric air?
