i just called my local yamaha dealer to see if they had any spark plug wires for 2006 r*. he told me they would have to order them at $157 a piece bcuz they come with the coil on them. someone tell me this isn't true. i can just buy the wires and that's it? if any suggestions on wires and websites to get them from, i would appreciate it. $600 for spark plug wires i can't see doing.

Will these work?

$139.00 for the pair. Plus $19.00 for the wires. At least that's what I paid from Maxair.

That's about as good as it gets. I bought my coils from ATV Galaxy for $125 or so and 7mm solid core wires from the local dealer for $24.00 or so. Thinking about it I should have just bought it from Max Aire.

Do you guys have a plug number? I'm surprized to hear that they're that good. My local Yamaha guy said to use them, would be a waste of $$$$.

DPR7EIX-9
Hi are you sure that is the correct number for that plug,as i just removed my spark plugs to put in iridium plugs and to my surprise it already had a set in it,but with 14,000 miles the gap looks very wide, and also they are a number off from yours listed,my plugs are ngk dpr9eix-9 you have yours listed at dpr9eix-9
