I have been using S-100 special surfaces cleaner. Clean and streak free, I picked up my microfiber towels at the local Home Depot.

My HD dealer keeps it on the shelf, and I have been impressed with the rest of the S-100 products too. Hard to keep an all black bike clean.

Re:Windshield cleaning? 5 Years, 8 Months ago
If you have big bugs on board, you can put a warm (hot for most) relatively soaked towel on there for about as long as it takes for it to cool down, and it will soften them up till they just about rinse away. When you do rinse them, only use your fingertips and a little detergent to get the stubborn parts up. Plexus is an excellent product. It lays down a little wax as it polishes. The pledge does the same. A good wax coat is what the bugs will stick to, rather than your polycarbonate shield. Makes them a lot easier to get off, especially with the hot towel.
