Wind sheild replacement 5 Years, 9 Months ago
After all the wind poundings from on coming trucks on the high way my 07 Silverado's wind sheild is showing stress cracks. Anyone know of a replacement other than going through the stealership? Got the cracks drilled now trying to get it to last till I get back from Cal.

Everything I've found is acrylic. I'd like Polycarbonate again, but I don't think anyone is making one aftermarket to fit Silverado hardware. Cee Bailey's makes one from Acrylic I think, but as much as this bike vibrates, I am afraid I'll get cracks in short order.

I have a Cee Bailey's on mine and never had a problem with it.

I have one of these available...
I bought a wreckless fairing and don't use it anymore
It's a Yamaha brand 17 1/2" Roadstar windshield in Solar Bronze (looks clear) or maybe slightly tinted... made in USA! is that weird?
I think it's in perfect shape except for a small blemish on the edge where the clutch cable rested against it

+1 on staying away from acrylic. Polycarbonate is the only way to go.

I have purchased from these guys twice, got one when I had my V-Star, and recently installed a 21" re-curve on my 08 Road*, it was one of their Blems which they discount, can't notice the blem? That along with Bucks Lowers reduced turblence drastically.
