I'm not even sure how to get to the spring to do it. They had mine set from the factory on the softest setting, now I set it on the hardest setting. Big difference , drag much less , and ride quality was not changed (enough to notice , for me anyhow). Shock is horizontal right in front of the rear tire , took me maybe 15-20 to adjust it to where I wanted. Hope this helps. I will go out and look at the bike and see how tough to get to it is. It sits down about 1 1/2" when I sit on it. Bounce a little and it will bottom out. I'm running forwards , and when I first put them on , I had more touchdowns on my exhaust pipe than the Patriots did on Sunday afternoons. Tightened it to "Maximum distance" , and noticed a difference immediately. I would do it again , and for big guys or those riding two up , I think it's worth doing. What one would you suggest? I am about 240 and the wife around 110. I havent rode the bike yet, waiting for winter to break so I don't know how bad it will drag.
