Hey LE

You can get the H4ST or the 9003ST. Same bulb.

Thanks for the info. I'll have to drop by Advance Auto and pick one up. Cheers

Just like any other light bulb, headlight bulbs do wear out. I"m just thinking that when you replaced your bulb initially, you may have touched the glass portion on the bulb itself. Make absolutly sure you don't touch the glass on the bulb. The oil from your fingers that touched the glass, will heat up the glass and cause the bulb to blow....again.

That is interesting. I have a buddy with an 05 that does the same thing. I run high all the time day light hours to increase visibility. My light bar stays on when I put on the high beam. I think it may be the way the dealer wired it when they assembled the bike. I am no electric wiz, but you have got to be able to run the high beams and passing lamps at the same time??? Any one else got any ideas.

I'll look into it when time allows (soon). I never touch the bulbs, and when I changed the bars, I didn't have to take the switchs apart, just split them and reinstalled them on the new bars. I'll figure it out, just kinda baffles me. BB

ok, so my dealer installed passing lamps yesterday and they only work with low beam. He said this is what they are supposed to do. he is incorrect? do they have a more positive lighting effect when on with the high beams? I see the wiring instructions tell you which wire to use depending on what you are after.

It really depends on what you like. They get wired all different ways. Mine are on all the time regardless of low or high. St really depends on what you like. They get wired all different ways. thats what I thought. I was surprised when he told me they work like fog lights and go off when you use the high beam.
