Brother Needs Some Guidance! 5 Years, 1 Month ago
I have a brother (Trevor) who has been riding for a couple years now. His current ride is an '05 Suzuki C50. It's been a good bike for him but he is now looking for something bigger. He has his eyes set on a '13 Suzuki C90 BOSS.

However...

I've been talking up the Roadie for some time now and think I may have started a new thought process.

I'm sure my brother wouldn't mind a few (thousand) facebook messages just to say hello and a few good words on the Roadie.

That is what I would do, throw him your key and let him ride for a few hours, or a day, it will change his mind.

I'm not expecting 10,000 calls being made. Just looking for a handful of messages.

And throwing him my keys is...well...not an option I'm willing to do.

Great Idea Moreland! I sent him a text alright. The more Roadies on the blacktop the better!

Right!

This site is incentive enough to own a Roadie!

There are many times more Road Stars on the big blue ball as there are Suzi cruisers. They are not impressive sellers, and anything other than the M109R is pretty anemic on power.

You might want to rethink posting his phone number.

you can print and copy my reply to him because i myself started on an 07 suzuki c50. i rode it for about a year and was ready to move up. they are fun bikes to cruise around the block, but fail to be a "comfortable" for even moderate riding. i fell in love with my roadie about 3 miles from the dealership when i first rode it. no comparison with ride comfort and power. my wife is even considering moving up to a roadie. she has ridden a vstar 650 for about a year and a half. i talked her into test riding mine last month. she was originally intimidated by the size, but after about 5 miles down the road, she loved it. she says its actually easier to ride than her 650. and the bumps on the road just get smoothed out. i would skip over the c90 just like i would skip over a vstar 1100 or 1300 if he is serious about riding. for the small cost differences you can't beat the value of a road star over the smaller yamahas
