Closet?? Watch it, Doc!! Ha!! Yeah, I'm pretty good with a wrench, so I'm usually tearing into something for one reason or the other. I'd have to say the best thing I've done to the bike thus far is switching it to Synthetic. Appreciate the compliments/welcome folks..

Re:Please introduce yourselves!! - Again 11 Years ago
Hi All. I guess it's time to get around to this again. My name is Mike, I live in Eganville, Ontario, Canada. Married two teenagers, wife, job. I'm a Millwright by trade, and now run a crew of 15 Millwrights in the arospace industry. I bought my first bike (Honda CT70) with my snow shoveling/grass cutting money when I was 13. Had all kinds of dirt, and road bikes over the past 31 years. Living in the great white North, we got into snow machines as a family in 1990 until 2 years ago.
Then I bought a 2000 V-Star with Cobra pipes (needed some weekend stress relief from work - love to make lots of noise), and I was hooked on bikes once more. I ride mostly secondary roads, and like to explore new places every weekend. The V-Star was just too hard on the back, and not enough top end. Last Aug. I traded up to a brand new 2005 Midnight Roat Star. I can only say it's definately the best thing I've riden since my 1982 GoldWing! I've done a stag one on the pipes (good enough for now), removed the AIS: and will relocate the fuel pump before spring. I'm also debaiting lowering the rear fender, along with the hard bags. Anyway I have found the RSC very helpfull right from when I was trying to decide if I wanted to trade my V-Star in on a Yamaha or ???. I made the right choice.

Hey Map

I agree on the secondary roads and new places. That's why I don't do organized rides. If I'm rolling along and see a road that looks interesting I'm going down it Freeways bore the begeeebers out of me. I'd rather spend twice as long getting somewhere and enjoy myself.

Welcome to the Clinic map.

Living in Eganville I can see why you were into sleds.

I'm just 1.5 h down the road from you.
