I would read "Under and Alone" by William Queen before having any kind of encounter with 1%ers.

I really don't understand what the problem is. Free speech and expression may be our "legal" right, but these guys don't exactly follow the law. They have their own rules that are understood between clubs. Fortunately we are being told some of those rules and should learn from them. Why would you want to walk the line if you know where it is? If you are going to pose as a club member (which is what a 3pc patch is) real or fake club and ride through a territory (and you will) you should expect to be called on it. I would expect that a poser is a bigger slap in the face than member from a different club who actually earned his.

Walk into a biker bar wearing your own colors. What do you think will happen?

Go to a part of town with a race different than yours and wear a racist shirt. What do think will happen?

Go to your gang part of town wearing a bandanna and throw some signs or tag a wall. What do you think will happen?

If you go around pissing in another dogs territory, you will get bit.

You do what you want, but I'm responsible for a family at home and won't go around spitting in peoples eyes.

All who ride have to ask for the permission by the "Dominate Motorcycle Club" in your area to get the okay to wear any BACK PATCH in any State or any country by the Dominate Motorcycle Club who is a member of the CONFEDERATION OF CLUBS (C.O.C) of which dictates mannerism of wearing a Backpatch and the meaning of
what the Backpatch that you may wear! if you reply back with were an Internet Motorcycle
group who ride Roadstars...they may make you drink the SEAFOAM ( LOL ) guarantee you hang in an area long enough their will be a M/C or (A Prospect Member)= who maybe trying to earn his patch get right in yer face...
