(Or am I just telling the cold hard truth?)What? Are they going to re-badge Rosdstars now? If they want the latest and greatest that's what they'll have to do.

roadies have electronic cruise? ABS? automatic volume control? EITMS (shuts rear cyl off if engine is over 180 degrees and works as a air pump to cool motor)? RFID security?

i loved my roadie, but to say Harley is behind them on technology is LOL..

They spent an awful lot on the ability for using acronyms I'll give em that much Sorry just my stupid 2 cents

Dude, it was just a little humor. I know Harley has all of the cushey accessories and options, but as far as bang for the buck goes the Roadstars have it. But that's just my opinion. Ride whatever you want all as long as you enjoy it. I bought the best motorcycle I could afford, if I would have had more money my butt would be sitting on a BMW.

You know, for as much complaining as some people do about some Harley owners being closed-minded about anyone who doesn't ride a Harley, it sure seems that lots of people here get riled up once the word "Harley" is mentioned. And another thing, it sure seems like a lot of people are always trying to figure out ways to make more and more Harley parts fit on our bikes. Doesn't that indicate a certain fondness for Harleys? I won't lie, if I had more money, I'd own one, and it's not because I want to be part of their "club." In the 6 years I've owned my Road*, I've ridden in a group setting maybe 5 times. I bet I'd be the same way if I had a Harley. I got a bike because it was a hobby I could enjoy by myself. They are just motorcycles. They all mean something special to the person who owns it.

+1 With Starkruzen,at the very least Star could add cruise, they don't even have
it on the new Strat.

My Roadstar has "Automatic Volume Control"...
- I just back off the throttle and TADA!
Volume goes down!

ah jeez, here we go again. i wont get into the harley vs. yamaha war this time. but i will say this is a ROAD STAR website, and i have ZERO interest in reading about anything with the word harley associated with it on this site. also if i had the money, i still would own my roadie, because thats just what i want to ride. that is all. carry on.
