Selling my bike 7 Years, 9 Months ago
I'm selling my bike because of a divorce. So I got a question. I have the bile out at 7950, the bike is in perfect shape 1075 miles on it and I'm not getting any calls. I got to ask W-T-F! Any ideas!

Sorry it is a 2007. I have the stock exhaust gutted stage 3 and she is lowered and the AIS is removed.

Right now is a rough time to try to unload a used bike. Dealers have tons of holdovers and are making deals on them and money is short for many folks.

Divorce is a crappy reason to have to get rid of your bike, specially if you are upside down on it. Good luck Brother.

Unless it's less than a year old that price is a bit high, in my opinion. There's several Road Stars in my local paper, they're all asking way too much and that's the reason they've been in the paper for months and months. One is a 04 Midnight and the guy is asking $7500, way too high.

Re:Selling my bike 7 Years, 9 Months ago
If it's a stock 07' and not a Silverado, I have seen them go as low as $5800 with little mileage also. Bikes are almost a dime a dozen right now, and it's a buyers market. I thought of selling all the accessories of mine, and then selling my stock Silverado. Just don't think I'll get what I want out of it so I'm holding on for now. Good luck, and let us know if we can help!

Kelly Blue Book, for what it's worth.....

Retail: $7130
Trade In: $4920

So, for a private sale I guess you could split the difference and say $5925. It sucks but there's a glut of used stuff out there of all makes and models.

NADA has an average retail at 6845.00 for the basic bike. I would stick with 7000.00 firm.

Where do you have it advertised at? You are not too far off on a Midnight Star with those miles. It is a midnight right? Like Road Hawg sad I wouldn't let it go for less than $7000 unless you just have to. You can do like a friend of mine did during a divorce...sell it to a friend real cheap and then buy it back when it's all said and done. Good luck man!
