Yeah I got one, it looks like a looney. Its pretty stiff but does have a little lumbar support. It's breaking in a little, not bad for the price.

Thanks Crash. Being the tight wad that I am, just want to get a seat that lowers my tall slender self but doesn't move me forward. Put floorboard extensions on but still not were I want to be.

Re:Seats 9 Years, 5 Months ago
I tried 3 seats before I decided to dehorn the seat. (I hated the way the stock seat pushed me forward and the horn stuck in my lower back, great bike, crappy seat for me.) The dehorn lowered me 3 inches and moved me back close to 4 inches. Perfect seat. Recently did 1700 mi. in 5 days with no problem. It is relatively cheap, especially if u have someone u know. www.jcbikedesign.com has internal struts ready to go for Roadstars. I bought a fender blank with Jeremy's input. He has a trick which I wont give away here but its the most comfortable seat I have ever sat on. I come from a long line of cheap people and i actually tipped him because he charged such a low price. The fender blank was free after I sold the stock rear off of my roadie.

Hope that helps

Hey Riobeard
I bought one last fall from Demons Cycle on eBay. I gave $79 for mine. I like it for shorter rides, and usually keep it on for everyday riding. I put my Mustang on for longer trips. Like Crash369 said, it takes a little to break in.
You can see one on my sigpic.

This is the first Roadstar that I have seen with a dehorned seat......very cool looking!

Yes that's the seat. I believe I'll give her a try. The De horned bike looks awesome but haven't got the courage to go that far as of yet. Maybe after I have 2 bikes in my Stable I'll be more willing to experiment. Always wanted to try my hand at a total custom but love riding to much to have the down time on my bike.
Thanks guys for the input.
