I had to fab a new battery box so the 375 cca would fit but got it instealed yesterday and guys what a diffrence in starting my bike it fires like in a split sec.
I highly recomened the Thunderfire high output Starter and the 375cca Thunderstart battery if you have the ability to make a new battery box

I just bought a new battery I had a choice between the regular type or a "specifically high performance" I don't know what that means but I do know it has a few more crank amps and was only $30 more. I am not able to ride yet but was told not to install until I am ready to ride. I am hoping with all the work I had done to the bike that it will feel new. I will go for the high output stater when time and $$ allow but everything from the carb, coils and wires are top grade and very finely tuned. Very excited.

Love to hear you impression of you new starter.

Cheers

Dragoon after I had the yamaha HC pistons put in and patrick racings heads the bike was a bitch to start so I got a chrome starter that was rebuilt and had a little more starting power and a big bore battery it was better but still not enough poop and not even close to what I have now
