R* drive belts are made similar to timing belts and timing belts we know are good for about 100k, so IMO we should get a good 75k out of our drive belts. They say UV and grit between belt and pulley teeth can shorten the life so I run with the top guard. I took the ugly plastic lower one off. If anyone has a chrome lower.. I'd take it off your hands.
