LED headlight relpacement......worth it? 1 Year, 10 Months ago
Just the element not the whole assembly. Usually run a PIAA Super Plasma but thinking about a Cyclops LED or maybe a PIAA LED....but if its not a BIG difference in light output I dont wanna spend the money.

wow i havnt seen the piaa led before.... they do look great. they are also a lot of $$$$ do they actually have a fan....? the led would last forever but not sure about the fan if there is one, couldnt imagine it would last.

not sure how it compares to a HID...? but i have installed a HID in my R, lowered the angle of the headlight a little and i am super happy with it.... i have never had any one flash me and the last time i went interstate i realized i didnt feel the need to use the high beam...... there is so much light on low beam.
i bought a HID kit for a car and split it up one for each of my R's worked out very cheap.

I bought the Cyclops for my RS warrior and from what i was told on another forum they are really good, I have it sitting on my workbench Ill try and put it in tonight and post some before after pics for you. From what everyone said the Cyclops LED are alot brighter than the HID's.

I used the cryon led with the built in fan and it is a real big difference. I got it from cruiser customizing, it cost about $70.00.

Sorry for the delay I havent had a day off in weeks. I know they are kinda crappy but here is a pic of my lights. I am comparing my RS with an LED truck 7 light and RS warrior using the cyclops bulb. Ill try to get better pictures this week. I tried to point the lights on my water cooler in my garage to show the difference.

    Truck light

        Cyclops bulb

For the price I am really happy with the bulb, its so much brighter. Ill see if I can find a dark rode to drive down and take a picture. Hope this helps a little

Wow! I see no cutoff and no width with the cyclops bulb. Just a whole lot of glare and a blob of light.
